# Cellanome > Cellanome is a life science tools company that develops technologies for observing living cells over time and connecting cellular behavior with molecular state from the same cells. Its R3200 platform combines live-cell imaging in CellCage enclosures with same-cell transcriptomics. The Cellanome site is written for life science researchers in academia and biopharma, including groups working in immunology, cancer and cell therapy, neurobiology, and aging and metabolic disease, as well as computational biologists and core laboratories. Cellanome sells research tools and services. Key terms used on the site: - Longitudinal: the same cells are imaged repeatedly over hours to days, rather than measured once at an endpoint. - Same-cell transcriptomics: gene expression (RNA) is measured from the same cells that were imaged, so behavior and molecular state can be matched cell by cell. - CellCage enclosure (CCE): a small, permeable, 3D-printed microenvironment that holds a single cell or a defined group of cells in place on a flow cell. - R3200: the Cellanome instrument that automates cell culture, reagent delivery, live-cell imaging, and RNA capture. The platform also includes flow cells, assays and kitted reagents, and the Cellanome Cloud software. - Cellular choreography: Cellanome's term for the coordinated states, behaviors, and interactions of living cells over time. Cellanome also offers support and services, including assay development and a service lab that can run studies for customers. ## Platform and technology - [Technology](https://www.cellanome.com/technology): Describes CellCage enclosures, which keep single cells or cell groups in place so the same cells can be imaged over time, then sequenced. - [Products](https://www.cellanome.com/products): Describes the R3200 platform: the instrument, flow cells, assays and workflows, and the Cellanome Cloud software for planning runs and exploring data. - [CRISPR Screens](https://www.cellanome.com/crispr-screen): Describes CRISPR screening on the R3200, linking guide identity to live-cell phenotype, morphology, and transcriptomics from the same cells. ## Application areas - [Applications](https://www.cellanome.com/applications): Overview of the research areas the platform is used in: immunology, cancer, neurobiology, and aging and metabolic disease. - [Immunology](https://www.cellanome.com/immunology): Covers T cell interactions, dendritic cells, and immunotherapy responses studied with longitudinal imaging and same-cell transcriptomics. - [Cancer Research](https://www.cellanome.com/cancer-research): Covers tumor heterogeneity, CAR T cell interactions, and cancer cell dynamics, measured with imaging and transcriptomics at single-cell resolution. - [Neurobiology](https://www.cellanome.com/neurobiology): Covers microglia, neuroinflammation, and neural networks studied over time at single-cell resolution with linked imaging and transcriptomic data. - [Aging & Metabolic Disease](https://www.cellanome.com/aging-metabolic-disease): Covers cellular senescence and aging at single-cell resolution, including senescent cells and metabolic changes. ## Research and resources - [Resources](https://www.cellanome.com/resources): Hub page for publications, posters, presentations, demo videos, and blog articles. - [Publications](https://www.cellanome.com/resources-publications): Index of Cellanome publications, which currently include bioRxiv preprints on CellCage methods, CRISPR screens, and CAR T cytotoxicity. - [Scalable Longitudinal Imaging and Transcriptomics of Cells in Dynamic Enclosures](https://www.cellanome.com/publications/scalable-longitudinal-imaging-transcriptomics-dynamic-enclosures): bioRxiv preprint (Khurana et al.) describing the CellCage workflow that pairs longitudinal live-cell imaging with single-cell transcriptomics from the same cells. - [Linking live-cell behavior to transcriptional responses across perturbations using dynamic caging](https://www.cellanome.com/publications/link-live-cell-behavior-to-transcriptional-responses-across-perturbations-using-dynamic-caging): bioRxiv preprint (Orcutt-Jahns et al., Genentech and Cellanome) linking cell morphology, surface proteins, and transcriptomics in CRISPR screens. - [CellCage™ technology enables high-throughput isolation of defined cell combinations to resolve the determinants of CAR T-mediated cytotoxicity](https://www.cellanome.com/publications/publications-cellcage-technology-car-t-mediated-cytotoxicity): bioRxiv preprint (Yau, Deshmukh et al.) using longitudinal imaging of defined effector-target cell combinations to study CAR T killing. - [Demos & Data](https://www.cellanome.com/resources-demos-data): Videos of R3200 instrument runs, CellCage enclosures (suspension and adherent cells, fluorescence imaging), and the Cellanome Cloud software. ## Company - [Company](https://www.cellanome.com/company): Mission, board of directors, CEO, and FAQs about the platform and research areas. - [News & Events](https://www.cellanome.com/news-events): Conferences where Cellanome presents or attends, plus news items such as podcasts and press coverage. - [Careers](https://www.cellanome.com/careers): Open positions and information about working at Cellanome. - [Contact](https://www.cellanome.com/contact): Inquiry form for demo requests, product questions, technical support, partnerships, media or investor inquiries, and employment. ## Conference posters - [Posters](https://www.cellanome.com/resources-posters): Index of conference posters from Cellanome and collaborators.
