Transforming How Cells Are Understood, To Transform How Diseases Are Treated

Our mission is to create breakthrough products that decipher the biology of cells to improve human health.

Biology is dynamic, but most research tools only capture static snapshots, missing how cells adapt, interact, and drive health or disease. This gap between what we can measure and what we need to understand slows discovery, increases costs, and limits progress in medicine.

Cellanome’s live-cell analysis platform is closing this gap. Our CellCage technology creates controlled microenvironments for live cells, enabling researchers to track behavior and molecular changes over time. By generating structured, multimodal data, our platform delivers the context and continuity that science and AI systems need to uncover mechanisms, identify targets, and accelerate better therapies.

Led by pioneers in life sciences and backed by top-tier investors, we are partnering with leading academic labs and biopharma companies to advance research in oncology, neuroscience, immunology, and aging. Cellanome is building the data infrastructure biology has been missing and laying the foundation for a new era of precision medicine.

FAQ’s

What is Cellanome?

Cellanome is a biotechnology company reimagining how scientists study living cells. Instead of static snapshots, we enable researchers to see cells in action, how they grow, change, and interact over time.

Our live-cell analysis platform integrates time-lapse imaging with single-cell molecular profiling such as transcriptomics. This allows researchers to directly connect how cells look and behave with what’s happening inside them at the genetic and molecular levels.

What makes Cellanome’s technology unique?

At the core of our platform is CellCage™ technology — forming customizable, biocompatible enclosures that support living cells in controlled microenvironments. Unlike traditional tools that destroy cells, our approach enables scientists to culture, perturb, and monitor cells in real time before connecting those observations to molecular data.

CellCage™ enclosures are dynamic, customizable, biocompatible microenvironments for isolating single cells or small groups of cells, enabling the culture, perturbation, and measurement of cell–cell interactions. Formed through micro-3D printing, these programmable, tunable environments let you adjust size, shape, and permeability to optimize experimental conditions, while preserving cells for downstream molecular assays such as transcriptomics.

What research areas does Cellanome support?

Our technology supports applications in oncology, immunology, neuroscience, and aging and metabolic disease – areas of research addressing some of the most urgent challenges in biology and medicine.

Cellanome’s platform is designed for a wide range of experimental objectives, including tracking neuron growth and synapse formation, understanding tumor-immune cell interactions, exploring immune system responses, and studying age-related cell behavior. Each experimental run generates high-resolution, longitudinal datasets that uncover how cells function and respond in real time.

What problems does Cellanome aim to solve?

Today’s tools only show static snapshots of biology. Cellanome provides dynamic views of how cells behave and interact over time, creating the kind of rich datasets that biology has been missing to power AI-driven discovery.

By generating longitudinal, multimodal datasets that link cell morphology, function, and interactions with underlying transcriptomic and molecular profiles, Cellanome delivers AI-ready data that reveal how early cellular events drive later outcomes. This approach overcomes the limitations of static methods and enables predictive insights into disease mechanisms, therapeutic responses, and translational biology.
